Bose is shittttttt. I bought one during X’mas, and now it is broken, bad quality, bad desigen, you cannot chew gum while listening to music coz it’s conjonctures will make squeeky noise, fking piece of crap.
Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7 for noise cancelling .. Sennheiser HD 595 for pure music .. you’ll never need any other ..

I think the audio technica should have won because their headphones their not supposed to be portable or very good looking. If i wanted them to be portable i would of got earbuds. the only things that should matter is how comfortable, sound quality and build quality.

dude i hate bose home audio as much as you do (i mean who would pay $4000 for a few trebelly cubes?), but i have to say, they do a fantastic, although expensive, job at their headphones.
I bought Bose QC3 a year ago.
Now, the left pad completely broke off, and the leather of both pads are beginning to tear up for some reason..
and I don’t use it that frequently!
Think before buying this $350 piece of shit..
Sennheiser cost much cheaper and sounds much better.
I personally got the ATH ANC7 and love them. Superb build quality (very surdy, and can take a beating), very solid sound (not huge base, but that ok with me, since i get a head ache from intensive base). And i found them for 120 CDN$, which is much nicer than the 330ish for the QC3!
Owned QC3s for about a year and a half – use them every day at work. No material problems, excellent sound (does tend to be bass heavy out of the box – but geez peoples, use an EQ for pete’s sake) – you can feel the quality (while it may be overpriced) and they are EXTREMELY comfortable – even after 6+ hours of continuous use.

On ” The sound professionals” just google that site. But i believe that the ATH-ANC7 was replaced with the ATH-ANC7b (practically the same product)
the categories should’ve been: sound quality, price, and noise canceling. AT would’ve won all of them.

Why didn’t they just compare the Quiet comfort 15′s and the AudioTechnica’s?? I have a feeling Bose payed them to do this comparison. Are we forgetting that money talks?
